Temporary network Pukema Puurs — Astro Rent case

Astro Rent ·
case study

For the Pukema festival in Puurs, we provided our cashless partner EventPay with temporary, fully equipped networks at six different locations. Due to the extremely tight schedule, all networks were set up at the last minute and dismantled immediately afterwards — a perfect illustration of the agility of Astro Rent.

Since all locations were in the heart of Puurs, we deliberately chose separate networks rather than one large network. During the festival, numerous activities also took place in the surrounding streets, making it crucial to separate the networks to guarantee maximum stability and reliability.

Each location had its own layout: some were compact, others considerably larger. Thanks to our modular components, we were able to set up an optimal configuration each time. The whole system ran on a robust infrastructure consisting of 6 Starlink dishes, 2 radio links, 6 routers, 3 switches and 8 access points.

Fast, flexible and reliable: our temporary networks for Pukema in Puurs

All infrastructure was** continuously monitored remotely**, allowing us to make adjustments immediately when needed, and EventPay could rely on a stable cashless experience throughout the entire event.

This project once again demonstrates how** Astro Rent** delivers temporary, high-performance and scalable networks — even under high time pressure and in challenging environments.
