How many visitors can Astro Rent support at a festival?
With our NetBox solution using WAN aggregation and enterprise WiFi access points, we can support thousands of simultaneous users. We scale the number of access points and 4G/5G modems based on your expected attendance and usage patterns.
Can you provide separate networks for visitors and staff?
Absolutely. We typically set up at least two isolated networks: one for visitor WiFi (optionally with a branded captive portal) and one secure operational network for POS systems, backstage communications, and crew devices.
What happens if a 4G/5G connection drops during the festival?
Our NetBox uses WAN aggregation with multiple 4G/5G connections from different carriers. If one connection drops, traffic is automatically rerouted over the remaining links. For large festivals, our technicians are also on-site to address any issues immediately.
