Astro Rent Cares supports Cycling is my life for a good cause
At Astro Rent, everything revolves around connection — networks that bring people together at events, festivals and gatherings. When Jochen Colla’s request landed in our inbox, the decision was quickly made. Because sometimes you connect not with cables and antennas, but simply with a good heart.
Jochen’s call
Jochen Colla, someone we’ve worked closely with for years, is lacing up his cycling shoes again this year for a good cause. Together with nine other cyclists, he’s taking on a tough challenge: at the end of August, they’ll link five countries in two days via the four tripoints. Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Luxembourg — all connected across 570 km and 6,000 metres of elevation.

Who they’re riding for
The proceeds of the challenge go to two organisations that make a real difference for children:
- Stichting Pelicano works to fill the lunchboxes of children living in poverty, so that no child has to leave for school on an empty stomach.
- De Kleine Prins ensures that seriously ill children can still enjoy carefree, relaxed moments, and also supports their parents with administrative matters.
Two worthy causes that each, in their own way, look after children who need it most.
Our support: a full ride at 1 euro per kilometre
Because we know Jochen well and fully stand behind his mission, we’ve sponsored an entire ride through Astro Rent Cares at 1 euro per kilometre. For each of the 570 kilometres the team cycles this year, one euro goes directly to both good causes.
A meaningful boost for two organisations that truly deserve it.
