How quickly can I get temporary internet?
For standard requests, we typically deliver within 24 to 48 hours. For emergency requests via our #SOSNetwork programme, same-day delivery is often possible.
How long can I rent equipment?
Our rental periods are fully flexible: from 1 day to months or even longer. We offer attractive rates for longer rental periods.
NetPod
What is a NetPod?
The NetPod is a compact, portable 4G/5G router that you can install yourself. It is a plug-and-play solution for small to medium-sized locations.
How many devices can I connect with a NetPod?
The NetPod Standard supports up to 32 simultaneous connections. The NetPod Plus can serve up to 50 devices.
Do I have to install the NetPod myself?
Yes, the NetPod is designed for self-installation. Simply connect the device to power and you have internet within minutes. No technical knowledge required.
Can I take the NetPod to different locations?
Absolutely. The NetPod is portable and works anywhere there is 4G/5G coverage. Ideal if you operate at multiple locations.
NetBox
What is a NetBox?
The NetBox is our professional network solution for large events and locations. With multiple bundled 4G/5G connections (WAN aggregation) and enterprise-grade WiFi, the NetBox serves hundreds of simultaneous users.
Is the NetBox installed by Astro Rent?
Yes, with the NetBox our technical team handles the complete installation, configuration and monitoring on location.
Can the NetBox also provide wired internet?
Yes, the NetBox has multiple Ethernet ports for wired connections, ideal for POS systems, backstage and streaming.
Events
What types of events does Astro Rent support?
We support all types of events: festivals, conferences, trade shows, sports events, company parties, film productions and more.
Can Astro Rent provide visitor WiFi?
Yes, we can set up both visitor WiFi and a separate business network, isolated from each other for optimal security and performance.
What if the network goes down during my event?
The NetBox features automatic failover: if one 4G/5G connection drops, the others take over immediately. For large events, our team is also on-site for direct support.
Construction & Temporary Locations
Is temporary internet suitable for a construction site?
Absolutely. Our NetPod is ideal for site containers and office units. The device is robust, works on the mobile network and only requires a power outlet.
Can I use the internet for security cameras?
Yes, our solutions support IP cameras and other IoT devices. The NetPod Plus has an Ethernet port for wired cameras.

#SOSNetwork is our emergency programme for urgent situations. If your fixed internet goes down or you urgently need connectivity, we often deliver a working solution the same day.
