Company details: company name, VAT number (if applicable).
Communication data: content of messages via our contact form, email or telephone.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and device information when using our website (via log files).

Delivering and invoicing our services.

8. Cookies and tracking

On your first visit, our website shows a cookie banner where you set your preferences. We also respect your browser's "Do Not Track" setting. We distinguish four categories:

Essential – Required for the site to work. Always active; they store your cookie choice (locally in your browser), among other things. No consent required.
Functional – For our live chat Chatwoot (self-hosted on cw.astrorent.net). Loaded only after you accept functional cookies.
Analytics – For Rybbit, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted web analytics tool (an alternative to Google Analytics). Rybbit is cookieless and stores no unique profiles or personal data; we only receive aggregated, anonymous visitor statistics.
Marketing – For Leadinfo, which uses the IP address to recognise which company visits our website (B2B), so we can offer relevant follow-up. Leadinfo sets cookies and is loaded only after you accept marketing cookies. Identification happens at company level, not at the level of individual persons.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
